We are assisting a leading chemical manufacturing company in their search for a skilled

Maintenance Engineer (Piping & Project Modification Works)

to join their Maintenance Section. You will play a key role in supporting the Maintenance Manager and leading a team to ensure smooth plant operations, timely project execution, and uncompromised safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Contractors to execute plant modification & civil works safely, efficiently, and without disruption to operations. Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups for seamless execution of plant modifications. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting plant issues. Conduct engineering studies, cost estimations, and project execution to enhance plant performance and reliability. Collaborate with Purchasers on bidding documents, technical evaluations, and contractor selection for major works. Plan and deliver training programs to upskill staff and contractors. Implement and maintain management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS651, Hazop, and Safety Case standards. Ensure accurate documentation, including as-built records, work procedures, and engineering specifications.

Key Requirements:

Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or

Material Engineering

. Minimum 2 years of experience in

fixed equipment and piping work

within the petrochemical, oil & gas, or related industries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across teams and contractors. Safety-first mindset and a spirit of teamwork.
