Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical consult to the Plant Manager for all site equipment.
• Oversee functional CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Develop and conduct in-house, Facilities and Maintenance trainings.
• Facilitator for the site Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Council and progressing the 8 pillars of TPM.
• Responsible for key decision making in all plant equipment and machinery activities considering both operation and functional requirements.
• Ensure all system defects are identified, responded to, rectified, and recorded as required.
• Maintain and improve plant capability, reliability, and efficiency through cost effective engineering solutions, FI and early equipment detection innovations.
• Ensure business continuity across functions.
• Ensuring effective management and security of on-site technical records, OEM documentation, quality management documents and other records as required.
• Manage the development and implementation of the approved budget for the Department.
• Work in partnership with the other teams in the site to support new projects and upgrades to improve the availability, reliability and efficiency of equipment on \xe2\x80\x93 site.
• Manage major A & A and M & E projects that occur on \xe2\x80\x93 site.
• Ensure the maintenance of rH and temperature settings for part conservation.
• Oversee integrated facilities management and associated functions.
• Lead and groom internal succession pipeline.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors / Masters in Engineering, Facilities Management or related fields with relevant legally required certifications.
• At least 8 years in the function preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or similar role.
• Licensed Electrical Worker.
• Singapore Certified Energy Manager.
• ISO 140001 and 50001 Auditor.
• Draftsman / Blueprint skills.
• LSS Green Belt or equivalent.
• Water Efficiency Manager
