Manage the maintenance team to resolve technical issues with cleaning equipment and machinery on site or at the workshop.
Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs.
Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and equipment performance.
Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
Manage and track the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Liaise with OEM, external vendors, and operation executives on equipment repair status.
Research and recommend new equipment for purchase or replacement.
Work to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 5 years' relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must, with the ability to perform preventive and predictive technical maintenance.
Must have valid class 3 driving license.
Preferably able to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
