Job Description
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This position reports to the Business Development Director and is responsible for the smooth daily operations of machineries in the farm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and servicing of equipment in the farm and outside projects by cleaning and lubricating machine parts
- Dismantling of defective machines for repair using hand tools.
- Repairing Greenhouse; replacing of defective parts and reassembling of machines and equipment following repair
- Installation and repairing of agricultural irrigation, plumbing, and sprinkler systems.
- Recording details of repairs made and parts used.
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to use hand tools, electrical meter, grinders, or saws
- Ability to install agricultural irrigation, plumbing, and sprinkler systems
- Ability to repair defective parts of a Greenhouse
- Knowledge of water pump, irrigation and fertigation system and how to troubleshoot electrical systems
DURATION OF ATTACHMENT OFFERED
- 6 months (Full-Time position to be offered after completion of traineeship subjected to trainee's performance)
