About the Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing all preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective building operations. This role includes developing maintenance plans, managing spare parts, and coordinating with various business units
What You'll Do:
Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules, reactive works, and emergency break-ins Ensure materials, access, and subcontractors are available to complete maintenance within an approved schedule Interface with other business units for permit approvals and area safety Collate and file worksheets for the completion of statutory works, including all permits Order stock of spare parts as required Prioritise daily workload based on safety and business criticality, highlighting potential interruptions Assess and review the scope of work, checking knowledge, training, time, materials, and other skills/sub-contractor support before commencing Log onto and check peripheral monitoring systems/points where applicable Conduct equipment start-up and test procedures Prepare detailed maintenance reports, including time taken, list of parts/materials used Schedule remedial work and authorise new work orders if repairs cannot be completed within the approved schedule Monitor operation over appropriate time to verify operational reliability
What You'll Need
High school diploma or GED
Relevant vocational or technical training in maintenance planning or a related field is preferred
Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
Knowledge of maintenance operations and associated areas (e.g., planning and scheduling, maintenance plans development, spare parts management, reliability engineering)
Strong organisational and planning skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of CMMS and other maintenance management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols
