Key Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities

• Assisting the maintenance & engineering manager in initiating department plans, quality control work procedures, activities, system & procedures, work flows, and other short & long term planning for the improvement of the maintenance department.

• In-charge of machines, buildings and facilities' repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Based on the maintenance plan and schedule, make necessary arrangement for manpower/personnel planning.

• Based on maintenance reports and spare parts requests, arrange and request all tools, equipment, spare parts needed in the repair and maintenance of a particular job order or request.

• Supervises and assists maintenance department personnel before and during the actual repair and maintenance jobs.

• Conducts quality checking before and during repair and maintenance jobs and operations.

• Monitors personnel/job assignments, job requests, work orders completion and ensure that all pending request for repair and maintenance were properly addressed and completed.

• Collects, evaluates, and analyzes maintenance reports and check all relevant information.

• Checks and monitors daily attendance record of all maintenance department personnel and submit to maintenance & engineering manager for evaluation.

• Prepares and submits reports such as daily/monthly attendance reports, daily/monthly maintenance reports, and other related reports to the maintenance & engineering manager.

• Supervises, and motivatesthe maintenance department working team.

• Assisting the maintenance & engineering manager in reviewing the performance of subordinates and identifying the training needs.

• Responsible in supervising, and checking the responsibilities of the maintenance department personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
• Controls and contains the discipline of maintenance department through effective and strict implementation and enforcement of company rules and regulations, ISO QMS, 5S, GMP, and health & safety policies.
• In-charge of maintenance department's occupational health and safety, housekeeping and cleanliness. Analyzes and evaluates the weekly and monthly GMP audits and make corrective actions for any deviations from the GMP policy.
• And, any other job to be assigned by immediate superior, provided, the task is related to the nature of his assignment.

Qualifications:

• College degree diploma in engineering preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering or any other related courses.
• At least two (2) year work experience as maintenance supervisor or maintenance in-charge in a flexible packaging or plastic manufacturing industry set-up.
• Sound understanding of using all repair tools and testing equipment.
• Computer literate an able to lead and motivate team.
• Must possess good supervisory, analytical, organizational, planning, leadership, and communication skills (both verbal and written)

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Php22,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per monthBenefits:
