Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Instrumentation) Jurong Island

Roles & Responsibilities Performs work that is related to the elements of Preventative Maintenance Program. Employs industry accepted safe work practices. Follows all plant safety rules.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks as directed on PM tickets. Work shall include but not be limited to checking for leaks on various equipment and process lines, inspecting tank vents, valves, compressors, pumps, rail lines, trucks, buggies, mixers, knock out pots, etc. Utilizes all necessary PPE and applies safe work practices including lock-out-tag-out, first line break, hot work/safe work permits, OSHA right-to-know, etc. Inspects all work after it is done, signs off on appropriate paperwork, and communicates job completion. 2. Repairs operating equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, hydraulic systems, etc. with a \xe2\x80\x9cC\xe2\x80\x9d or higher mechanics or under the supervisor\'s direction. 3. Acquires working knowledge of terminal operations, wastewater, steam boilers, flares, plant electrical code, meters, etc. 4. Goes to vendors shops to deliver or pick-up critical parts and materials or take licensed and permitted vehicles offsite for service.

Requirements: 1. Minimum diploma in mechanical engineering is preferred 2. Minimum 2 years working experience preferably in Oil Gas & Petroleum industry 3. Able to complete skilled tasks with minimal supervision. 4. Must possess good math, reading, written and verbal communication skills. 5. Must be able to use basic tools and read and follow directions. 6. Willing to work in Jurong Island
