Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking Maintenance Technician - Equipment Maintenance that will support the current team to fulfill customer\'s expectation.

Main responsibilities:

• Planning & execution of breakdown and preventive maintenance activities assigned by Supervisor.
• Conduct machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implement counter measures.
• Use of TPM tools and methodologies to improve machine\xe2\x80\x99s reliability, reduce downtime and maintenance cost.
• Maintain adequate and orderly documentation as specified by the Maintenance Department procedure.
• Purchase spare parts and maintain the part stores.
• Execute machine installation and qualification together with OEM.
• Provide support to Facility equipment repair for electrical issues.
• Work with cross functional departments to resolve safety, quality and productivity related issues and improvement.

Requirements:

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Mechatronics.
• 3 - 5 years in Equipment Maintenance. Candidates with experience in Optical Thin Film Coating machines will have an added advantage.
• Equipment Maintenance experience in Manufacturing with TPM Exposure.
• Hands on experience in PLC, Drives, Automation, Electrical Circuits, Mechanical, Pneumatics, and Hydraulic.
• Hands on experience with Facility equipment (Air compressor, chiller, aircon, cooling tower, transformers and switch gears).
• Must be a team player, in order to work with other functions.
• SAP PM Module experience is an advantage.
• Basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint office and SAP skills.
• Willing to work on 2nd & 3rd shifts, weekends, PH and after office hours when required.

Skills : Team Member: Required Intermediate

HNITEC

Experience : 3 years: 3 - 5 years in Equipment Maintenance. Experience in Optics fabrication and Machine Shop will be an added advantage.
