Medpace Singapore is growing rapidly and we are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. This position will support our Central Laboratory and Office operations to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company\xe2\x80\x99s success. Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance work, service requests and preventative maintenance in both a laboratory and office environment, across multiple buildings;
  • Coordinate vendor requests, including calling/dispatching for service as well as ensuring vendor work is completed in a timely and acceptable manner;
  • Proactively identify proactive maintenance items and create action plans to review with supervisor to keep all buildings to established standards;
  • Sustain the highest levels of professional conduct and customer service maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor;
  • Communicate facilities-related matters and concerns to supervisor and escalates issues appropriately;
  • Assists with coordination and management of facilities projects and vendors. Must be able to read building plans and ensure contractors are fulfilling project scope of work;
  • Ability to act as lead on projects, keeps track of project status, budget and impact to other employees. Keeps supervisor and Facilities leadership informed throughout;
  • Assist with internal and external property-related custodial needs;
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, tools and supplies in work order system while keeping a neat and orderly supply room;
  • Regularly utilize technology and systems to receive and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner keeping complete and accurate documentation of time, materials, inventory, etc.;
  • Maintains a safe working environment, including completion of all assigned safety and training programs; and
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma qualifications;
  • 5+ years of Maintenance/Facilities work experience required;
  • Must be able to work independently, organize workload and prioritize as needed;
  • Must have excellent communication skills and also work well with co-workers/management from Operations;
  • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and lift loads of 50 pounds;
  • Must be able to stand and/or bend frequently;
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces;
  • Must be comfortable using a computer, Microsoft office applications, mobile phone, and electronic work order system(s);
  • Knowledge of the work hazards and applicable safety precautions associated with the area of work assignments;
  • Working knowledge of hand tools;
  • Knowledge of plumbing and associated skills;
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and devices; and
  • Knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration systems;
