Job Title: Major Account Executive Job Level: Mid Level Total Experience: 8-10 years Relevant Experience: 5-+ years Primary Skill Sets: Executing sales strategy, Selling Cybersecurity solutions, Operational Management, Negotiate Contracts. Secondary Skill Sets: Develop, mentor, recruit, and retain top sales talent POSITION SUMMARY: As a Major Account Executive to join the team. Your focus will be to articulate the value of our offerings to named accounts in your assigned geography, and bring in new customers to Securonix. In this quota carrying role, you will directly drive the top line of the business and help organizations across the world deploy security analytics at cloud scale. The main goal of our Major Account Executives is to drive net new sales from named prospect accounts within your assigned territory. In this role, you will partner cross functionally with internal teams to drive business opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation to contract close. This is a quota carrying role and critical to the continued growth and success of Securonix. POSITION SKILLS:

  • Meet and/or exceed your quota by identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities at enterprise companies.
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position the Securonix value proposition to suit their needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert to prospective customers
  • Stay current on competitor offerings and be able to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities - why we win and why we lose.
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate solutions.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various cross functional teams including Sales Engineering, Sales Development, Account Management, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast and opportunity information in Salesforce.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years of closing experience at a technology company.
  • Experience at an Enterprise Technology Company
  • Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting and creating new business, predicting an accurate forecast, and demonstrated pipeline management
  • Highly professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure, as well as be highly responsive to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn, absorb, and adapt quickly to ever-changing business priorities.
  • Critical thinking and creativity, demonstrating drive, initiative, curiosity, and sense of urgency in acquiring customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to customer meetings as needed.
