(Mammalian cell line) Distribution Sales Manager APAC, ContractSummary
The APAC Distribution Sales Manager will manage the APAC Distributor channels and be responsible for driving profitable sales growth in the designated geography. The role will be responsible for supporting go-to-market strategy and execution in a very collaborative manner using the appropriate AI internal resources. Under the direction of the Senior Director, the manager will work as a peer and partner with all functional leaders to support and drive the strategic plan and performance of the business. The manager will demonstrate exceptional sales/business acumen supplemented by good cultural flexibility to adapt to the local practices and culture with integrity.
Successful outcomes will require exceptional communication, internal and external relationship-building and influencing skills, as well as leadership and change management ability.Key Responsibilities

  • Developing a high-performance sales support go-to-market strategy focused on growth and winning new business. This strategy must be accountable for results and respected by customers and the marketplace.
  • Providing high-quality support to distributors, including training, technical support, and commercial support to ensure business consistency and performance.
  • Delivering results that meet specific revenue and broader growth objectives.
  • Creating and managing a regional distributor management process with clear objectives, performance tracking, and regular review meetings.
  • Developing and deploying efficient processes and tools to support distributor sales team effectiveness and accountability.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with key accounts, customers, partners, and industry players. Representing the company positively to enhance its reputation.
  • Annually assessing distributor eligibility to work for the company through a comprehensive assessment of sales performance, intelligence collection, and compliance. Supporting the development of initiatives to improve performance when needed.
  • Ensuring successful new product launches.
  • Collaborating with other functional leaders to establish and deploy broader strategic plans.
  • Sharing market insights (competition, product performance, industries, etc.) to enhance decision-making.
  • Developing and executing marketing plans with distributors, including e-marketing and events.
KPIs
  • This position will meet KPI for the territory.
  • Tracking and reporting the status of demos
  • Establishment of reference customers for the new technologies
Requirements * Educated to degree level or above.
  • Practical experience in mammalian cell line development
  • Experience as a Distribution Manager
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with a pro-active, flexible and adaptive approach to work
  • Highly organized with experience of using databases to maximum effect.
  • MUST hold a valid, current driving licenses for the territory
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: * Typical office environment.
  • You must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
  • Business travel to prospects (including overseas), customers, distributors and trade events.
