Job Description




KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives incorporating SAP Products. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking an SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. You are expected to design, implement, and deploy financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Banking, Tax, Asset Accounting, Costing, internal Orders etc. This position is based in Singapore.

The role involves:

  • Designing and configuration of financial modules which includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Banking, Tax, Asset Accounting (AA), Costing, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis, Project Systems (PS), Settlements, etc.
  • Fund Management (FM)
  • Budget Availability Control and Analysis, Former Budgeting function.
  • Thorough knowledge on FI entities. Responsible for the areas of Patient Collection, Accruals, Management Accounting (CO) - Cost Center / Profit Center Accounting, Internal Order setup for Patient Accounting.
  • Conduct workshops for requirement gathering related to FICO, update business blueprint, Deliver test scripts for unit, Integration testing and UAT.
  • Preparation of functional specifications for the developers in view of business requirements and co-ordinating with development team for unit testing.
  • Handling functional testing, integration testing and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
  • Create documentations as defined in the deliverable lists; configuration documents, training documents, etc.
  • Conducting end-user training sessions.
  • Support cutover activities, go-live, post go-live support for the resolution of issues as per SLA.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects at a time
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Experience in rollout and supporting global template solutions for large companies
  • Experience in functional lead role will be an added advantage
  • Experience in designing integration solution with non-SAP product and/or cloud application
  • Track record in implementing innovative solution in previous clients/companies
  • Able to do LSMW, report painter, adhoc queries and simple ABAP troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skill; able to speak and write well in English
  • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Ability to effectively develop presentations and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin/Malay would be an added advantage
