KPMG has a strong SAP Digital Transformation team in this region, and we are assisting several clients with End-to-End business transformation initiatives enabled by SAP solutions. Our practice is further expanding, and we are currently seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager to join our team. You are expected to manage the areas of project planning, resource management, risk and issue management, stakeholder communication, project governance, scope management, vendor management, project execution, change management, project documentation, reporting and post-Go Live support.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the planning, executing and implementation of multiple SAP projects and roll outs.
• Partners with various functional and technical teams within the SAP program such as SD, MM, FI, CO, WM, ABAP, BASIS, and Security.
• Lead from front on Business Process set-up workshop by demonstrating domain/industry experience on best practices.
• Project Governance - monitors and controls on project scope, schedule, budget, risk & issues. Ensure the project follows organization\'s governance standards
• Risk Management - Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Regularly monitoring risks and implementing contingency plans when required.
• Stakeholder Communication - Maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, executives, and external vendors.
• Scope Management - Managing changes to the project scope and assessing their impacts
• Quality Assurance - Overseeing the quality of project deliverables and ensuring that they meet the agreed-upon standards.
• Project Execution - Coordinating and supervising the work of the project team, assigning tasks, and ensuring that project activities are progressing as planned.
• Issue Resolution - Addressing and resolving project issues that may arise during the implementation, ensuring minimal impact on project objectives.
• Reporting - Providing regular status updates to project stakeholders and senior management, including progress reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and any deviations from the original plan.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Suitable candidate shall have 10+ years\' experience on SAP Implementation + roll out projects across Asia Pacific countries
• Shall have strong functional consulting background
• Proven experience in managing/supporting large complex environments with multiple applications versions, tools, and customers
• Strong hold on more than one SAP module is an added advantage
• An excellent verbal and written communication skill in the English language
• Experience on planning, scheduling, and driving all party meetings
• Ability to effectively develop presentations and present ideas and proposals to all levels of management
• Sensitivity to working across other cultures and respects and values diversity
• Demonstration of desire to keep abreast of technological changes and recommends service improvements and cost savings measures.
• Good Knowledge on PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge Processes and ITIL Processes
• Project Management Professional Certification is preferred
• Self-motivated and have the ability to deliver results and meet timelines with minimal direct supervision.
