Management Trainee, Food & Beverage

The Food & Beverage Team is managed by a professional, friendly and dedicated team of Servers, Hosts and Team Leaders. Your leadership skills and the values you model as a Management Trainee will inspire your team - not only to ensure an exceptional guest experience, but also to grow their careers with Fairmont Singapore and Swissotel The Stamford.

Management Trainees will embark on a 12-month training programme in preparation for assuming a leadership role within the department.

An individualized development plan is created to map out rotations as well as each individual\'s agreed learning outcome. Upon successful completion of the 12-month training period, the candidate will be placed in a suitable management position, serving an 18-month bond with the company.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Runner/Server Duties
  • Micros, ResDiary Systems
  • Guest Loyalty Programs
  • Event & Function Management
  • Scheduling and Supervisory roles
  • Materials/Inventory Control
  • Financial report/Budget & Forecast
  • Management Duties
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Hotel Management or related disciplines
  • Fresh graduate with a keen learning aptitude is welcome to apply
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Possess good guest interaction skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess a positive attitude, mature, highly initiative and a self-starter
  • Leadership/People management with strong decision making skills

The position is only open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
