We are looking for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to join us as Management Trainees. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about Japanese cuisine, eager to learn, and ready to grow into future restaurant leaders. You will receive structured, hands-on training in both service and kitchen operations, with clear progression into supervisory and management roles.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations (FOH & BOH)
Learn daily opening and closing procedures
Support kitchen operations and food preparation under guidance
Assist service team in welcoming guests, taking orders, and using the POS system
Uphold Japanese service etiquette and ensure a great dining experience
Learning & Development
Gain product knowledge of Tonkatsu and Japanese cuisine
Understand food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards
Receive mentorship from experienced chefs and managers
Leadership Training
Work with supervisors to learn scheduling, task allocation, and team motivation
Assist in guiding part-time staff and junior team members
Customer Service
Learn to handle customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism
Build confidence in communication and problem-solving
Compliance & Reporting
Comply with SFA/NEA hygiene and WSH standards
Attend food hygiene training
Assist in inventory checks, ordering, and preparing simple reports
Requirements
Minimum Qualification Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Fresh graduates welcome; up to 1 year of F&B or customer service experience an advantage
Passion for Japanese cuisine and restaurant management
Willing to learn, energetic, and hands-on
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Employment Details
Monthly Salary Range: SGD $3,000 - $4,000
Work Schedule: 5.5-day work week, shift-based (including weekends & PH)
