Management Trainee, Supply Chain (Food & Beverages)

This program is designed for the candidate to gain maximum exposure and evolve with the rapid pace of disruptive business environment and to nurture talents contributing to a dynamic high performance of conquering tomorrow\xe2\x80\x99s challenges within Supply Chain function. Leveraging a range of methodologies including on-the-job training, structured mentoring, performance assessment and exposure to senior leaders, our program enables you to build both core technical and business skills during this comprehensive 24-months program where management trainees will also be exposed to Symrise processes, business, and culture.
The Position:

As part of the comprehensive training and program exposure, trainees will go through a series of on the job (OTJ) Training and Project with the following areas:

  • Automation and Digitalization of processes and reports within Supply Chain Operations.
  • Identify opportunity areas and recommend efficiencies at work (process simplification, automation etc) to improve agility and speed of execution.
  • Perform analysis on retrieve data and reports before proposing required recommendations.
  • Gaining exposure in the Planning & Logistics related projects including Digitalization and Automation.
  • Partner effectively with cross functional teams in delivering value added initiatives to enhance service level.
  • Benchmark external best practices and participate in knowledge sharing.
  • Gaining exposure and training on Industrial, Chemical Safety and other Safety systems like Management of Change, Risk Assessment, MSDS etc.
  • Exposure to the Manufacturing Supply Chain function which involves Production, SRMS, Planning and Scheduling, Warehousing, Maintenance of Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s, and Process Engineering Improvements projects.
  • Understanding the Raw Material movement, planning and ordering sequence while exposing to the use of SAP and various in-house systems.
  • Familiarization on the unit operations involved in Symrise Manufacturing facility, suggest optimization and monitoring program.
  • Training on GMP procedures and practices that needs to be strictly followed and on Food Safety & Defence Systems.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fresh graduates from Local University or Graduates with no more than 2 years of working experience will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Fast learner, curious and dedicated.
