Due to expansion, there is a newly created role available in the Singapore office. This is a hybrid role in both management and cost accounting and as an integral part of the finance department. Company is on 2 days WFO, the rest WFH arrangement. Do note that new joiner may need to WFO for more days to get things started. Do also note that the office location is now in the CBD area but will need to shift nearer to the Senoko (north of Singapore) by mid 2023. This is where the new distribution centre and facilities will be set up. The Person . Diploma/Degree in Accountancy /ACCA with strong Accounting technical skills . 3-5 years of relevant costing experience in manufacturing industry . Supervisory / team management experience but must be prepared to be a single contributor for now as the team is being built up. . M3 experience can be a helpful and added advantage but not a must. . Possess advanced MS Excel skill . Experience in responsible for full range of costing matters of the Singapore manufacturing plant would be desirable . Singaporean/ Singapore PR The Role Management Accounting : . Implement and set up M3 ERP system in Singapore. . Play a key part in the preparation of statutory financial statement and monthly management pack. . Be one of the main advanced users on Info M3 for financial transactions. . Review and perform banking activities on the corporate banking platforms. . Involve in the forecast, budget process and financial analysis. . As part of the global finance team, contribute to system and process reviews and improvements. Cost Accounting: . Responsible for full range of costing matters of the Singapore manufacturing plant. . Review the manufactory's current cost variance and work with production department to resolve variance and costing issues. . Lead and monitor manufactory costing models and policies and making recommendation to improve/ stabilise procedures and policies. . Report and analyse operational variances including production order variances, purchase price variances, manufacturing variances inclusive of manufacturing hours and material receipts. . Perform inventory and standard cost accounting and control and participate in annual budget exercises focusing on operations. . Assist in the annual cost roll up, obsolescence review for inventory and annual WIP count. . Actively support continuous process improvement, benchmarking best practices and proactively drive process streamlining and system enhancement initiatives, and management very closely to support various improvement projects.
