Your New Role

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, and extremely motivated individual, responsible for revenue targets for the SEA Affiliate Distribution and Digital Partnerships Team within the assigned remit, to effectively sell our first in class linear and digital properties. As an integral member of the Distribution team, you will act as an interface between the customers and internal stakeholders, who will help guide the business into further growth, as various countries within the region pick up pace.

Your Role Accountabilities

Drive revenue growth by continuously prospecting, closing distribution deals and scaling distribution that expands company\xe2\x80\x99s revenue, customer base, and ensures its strong presence.

Own and exceed sales target across assigned territories and accounts, by conducting thorough pre-sales planning and marketing analysis, and managing a sales pipeline for growth.

Work with Sales and Finance to accurately forecast revenue, closure rates, and budgets.

Negotiate and conclude deals with existing and new customers, executing deals working all the way through \xe2\x80\x93 together with internal stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 to the signature of long form agreements.

Initiate, deliver, and present insights and strategies for clients to truly understand the value of our proposition, and help develop and implement pricing, product, and packaging strategies that maximize incremental revenue opportunities.

Utilize research effectively to provide creative solutions for clients to maximize placement, ratings, and performance & promotional opportunities.

Produce high quality, client-ready work including but not limited to presentations, pitch materials, proposals, factsheets, background preparation, and more.

Project manage new launches, sales forums, industry conferences, business meetings, client visits, presentations, and events.

Identify new leads and avenues for growth for the distribution team. Keep apprised of clients\xe2\x80\x99 brands/products/marketing and industry developments \xe2\x80\x93 issues, competitive situation, and industry trends.

Manage relationships with clients in the territories, ensuring regular client contact and communications e.g. gather market intelligence, keep clients up to date on WBD events, foster, grow and maintain client accounts, handle partners\xe2\x80\x99 enquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner and provide high quality after-sales support.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in business, with a major in sales and marketing.

Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar role within a media organization, with credibility and network in the SEA markets.

Proven ability to drive sales from pitching to closing, with strong sales and growth record.

Proven knowledge and awareness of market trends and competitor products.

Consultative dealmaker with the ability to manage brands, accounts, and affiliates. Business acumen and ability to successfully navigate and influence within a complex business environment.

Confident sales and presentation skills with an ability to present ideas and concepts effectively.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Fluent English (Mandarin fluency/any additional language is a plus).

Motivated self-starter, proactive and action oriented, with a keen sense of ownership, drive, solution driven and highly numerate.

Ability to work effectively under pressure, equally as an independent individual and team environment, to exceed sales targets.

Meticulous, strong ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and adopt a flexibility approach to different tasks.

Able to think out of the box when being presented with challenges and suggest viable solutions.

Pick up processes quickly to ensure that there is no breakage in workflow.

Able to prioritize and seek out time-sensitive deliverables to work on when there are multiple deadlines and urgent tasks.

Work effectively with cross-functional departments to ensure that work is delivered on time.

Strong communications skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate ethical behavior and discretion with sensitive data and information.
