Changi Airport operates on a 24/7 basis, serving our passengers and airline partners. Resource planning and operations are key considerations to delivering high-performing airfield systems. One of the airfield systems which is highly critical to airport operations is aircraft pavement maintenance and airfield turf management. Upkeeping the performance and serviceability of aircraft pavements and optimizing the management of airfield turf in Changi airport is our priority to ensure that aircraft operations are not disrupted with minimal wildlife hazards.
As part of Changi Airport Group\xe2\x80\x99s Engineering team, you will be heading the aircraft pavements and turf maintenance team to ensure that our airfield pavements and turf are maintained well with the right resources and right maintenance strategies deployed to balance between operational constraints, cost and asset condition. You shall be responsible to come out with maintenance strategies to optimize resources for aircraft pavements and airfield turf maintenance, and to work with our service partners to explore new materials, work processes and methods to ensure superior work quality and work approaches. You shall also plan the maintenance works, supervise the team, and work closely with our stakeholders managing airfield operations to ensure that the maintenance works can be carried out timely under good quality control.
Job description:

• Work out optimal maintenance strategies for aircraft pavements and turf management to ensure robustness of assets.
• Manage multiple ongoing maintenance contracts, review its effectiveness and introduce measures (where nec) to resolve issues and to improve productivities.
• Work closely and engage various stakeholders and airport partners to manage the work processes and minimise impact to airport operations, while balancing the need for asset performance.
• Improve and transform the current maintenance work processes and procedures, method statements and resources to strive towards higher productivity and quality, and at minimal disruption to airport operations.
• Carry out maintenance planning and ensure timely works completion to enable our pavement and turf systems remain in compliance with authority requirement at all times.
• Drive the digitization of all maintenance data with the team as well as our service partners to enable asset performance trending

• Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• Preferably with working experience in maintenance of engineering systems in a 24/7 operational environment
• Interest in managing and running an operational team in a highly demanding environment
• Customer-driven and enjoys field work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
