What the role is:The Resilience and Engagement Division (RED) helps build a strong society by strengthening social capital, and inspiring and empowering individuals to contribute to the common good. We do this through three pillars of work: fostering a strong and inclusive sense of national identity; strengthening local-foreign integration and promoting volunteerism and philanthropy.What you will be working on:One of the ways by which government agencies encourage active citizenry is by providing grants to citizens and ground up organisations for their initiatives. You will be part of a team that strengthens grants governance and management for citizen-facing grants. The team also manages the Our Singapore Fund (OSF) and Our Singapore Grants (OSG) portal, which supports meaningful projects by passionate Singaporeans that strengthen national identity or meet social and community needs. As a Business Operations Product Owner for the OSG Portal, you will be working on: \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate policy intent into business operation processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and manage business process improvements, conduct market research and develop business contingency plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate upstream and downstream impact to business processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Confirm functional and business process requirements, develop scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT). \xe2\x80\xa2 Propose business process changes and support change management and communications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Data custodian responsible for access control and data patching. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform business operational activities and handle business queries (e.g. change management, billing, training and business FAQ). \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with the IT team to digitalise business processes to achieve operation excellence and business process efficiency.What we are looking for:Work Experience and Knowledge \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 1 year\'s working experience, preferably in a role that involves digital systems and project management. Competencies Have demonstrated the following competencies: (i) Deep Critical Thinking: \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think and reason from first principles with minimal guidance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Distil critical issues and sense-make from a wide range of information, arriving at effective solutions. (ii) Data-Driven Analysis: \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilise data analytics directly or indirectly to support analysis and simulate the impact of different options. \xe2\x80\xa2 Translate findings into actionable insights that advance policy analysis and solutioning. (iii) Stakeholder Engagement, Including Internal Stakeholders: \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and prioritise stakeholders based on issue or domain area. \xe2\x80\xa2 Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders. (iv) Business Development & Needs Analysis: \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage users and analyse data gathered to understand business needs, constraints and requirements for new opportunities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Explore relevant digital innovations, solutions or programmes to address business needs and leverage on upcoming trends. (v) Other Competencies: \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong project management skills.
