Job Description


What the role is:The Global Office (GO) team oversees the coordination of government-to-government youth relations and provides youth leaders with opportunities for representation at international and regional platforms. It also oversees the Asia-Ready Exposure Programme (AEP) which empower youth to be Asia-ready by providing broad-base opportunities for meaningful exposure to ASEAN member states, China and India (ACI), and strengthening their competencies in building friendships and networks within the region. Through the various programmes and platforms, GO supports NYC's thrust in developing outstanding youth with informed perspectives, awareness of global and regional issues, and a heart for Singapore.What you will be working on:This is a one-year contract role with the Global Office team. As the Manager / Assistant Manager (Global Office), you will support the team in managing and implementing robust systems and evaluation measures to ensure that our programmes allow us to foster good relationships with local and overseas youth counterparts for strengthening regional youth cooperation, imbuing youths with a greater awareness of the region and global community as well as equipping them with the requisite Asia-ready values and skills. Particularly for this position, we are looking for a self-motivated and IT-savvy individual who excels in project management to join us. You will be expected to: Support the programme leads in the planning, coordination and implementation of international youth programmes, including the Asia-Ready Exposure Programme and Bilateral Youth Leaders Exchange Programmes with key countries. Manage and onboard new systems, platforms and backend processes for knowledge and data management supporting international youth programmes. Support in designing and implementing a robust set of measurements and using data analysis to ensure the realisation of the desired youth outcomes through the various international programmes. Coordinate with local and international counterparts to facilitate access to multilateral youth platforms. Handle grant administration and stakeholder management to support collaborations.What we are looking for:

  • Comfortable managing systems, processes and data Relevant experience in software and tools such as Excel Power Query, Power BI, UiPath, FormSG, and Plumber.Gov would be advantageous Possess good analytical, writing and communication skills Self-motivated, resourceful, meticulous and high learning agility Team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work in cross-functional teams and with diverse key partners Proven ability to handle stakeholders, partner relations and project development
