As the Manager/ Assistant Manager of theCorporate Communications department, you will drive and develop communicationsinitiatives with a focus on media management and publications to strengthen theHospital's corporate positioning and increase mindshare. You will be part ofthe crisis management team. Duties on media and publication planning and execution include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop effective strategies to enhance the Hospital's positioning through media and publications
• Drive, develop and execute media plans, working with both internal and external stakeholders to convey narratives and key messages. This includes active pitching to media and publications, fostering excellent media relations, preparation of materials including speeches, talking points, news releases, and videos, management of media visits and media conferences/briefings, facilitation of interviews and management of media queries.
• Drive and manage the publication process from editorial planning, interviewing, writing, photo-taking to proofreading and production of the Hospital's publications, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging and educational content to expand the reach of the publications.
• Package and adapt content across various communications assets such as website and social media, and other platforms for increased mindshare and reach
• Manage issues and crisis communications
• Carry out media monitoring and measurement, and online media management
• Keep abreast of best practices in the media and publishing industry, and refresh media and publication processes and procedures as required
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Degree preferably in MassCommunications, Public Relations or Journalism

Minimum 6 years ofrelevant work experience. Those withmore years of experience will be considered for the Manager's role. Relevant experience in the healthcareindustry will be an advantage

An engaging story tellerwith excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and anose for news.

Effectively bilingual

Excellent knowledge ofthe media and publication process, media channels and integratedcommunications. Knowledge of digital platforms is a bonus.

Highly driven,analytical, resourceful and meticulous

Able to workindependently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to meettight timelines; but also a team player with a positive attitude
