What the role entails

We are looking for a Manager Business Improvement to join our team!

This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic professional known for their exceptional skills in process management, their love for collaboration and engagement, and their enthusiasm for change management initiatives.

You will lead direct contribution to the transformation of Pacific Metal Sales through business process improvement and establishing a good knowledge management framework/process, which could involve implementation of technology solutions, where relevant, to enable the business to further scale and grow. Working within the Pacific Aluminium Sales team and reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Program Management:
  • Leading a portfolio of business improvement projects with the key objective of ensuring the capability to scale business as usual activities (BAU) efficiently and launch new initiatives with agility.
Process Re-engineering and Business Improvement
  • Work closely with teams across the organization to understand key business drivers, objectives, and work collaboratively within Pacific Aluminium Sales team and across the Commercial business with various stakeholders, e.g. Digital team for technology implementatio
  • Conduct data analysis and performance assessments to identify opportunities for enhancing business performance
  • Mapping current key processes to identify and drive opportunities for improvements (assess and prioritise opportunities),
  • Re-designing and streamlining business processes, whilst project managing the implementation of such improvement initiatives to drive for tangible outcomes and benefits.
Knowledge Management and Change Management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy to capture, share, and leverage organizational knowledge
  • Establish knowledge-sharing platforms and tools to facilitate collaboration and information exchange among employee
  • Supporting teams on stakeholder engagement and change management, working closely with respective business process owners to communicate change, ensure compliance and update of documents/processes.
What you will need for this role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in leading business process improvement and cross-functional teams or similar.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to dissect complex processes into manageable components
  • Enjoy and relish in guiding others through transformations, process improvements, technology implementations, and culture shifts
  • Demonstrated success in driving Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Power BI
  • Highly effective leadership, organisational, time management and analytical skills and ability to work in a highly dynamic/complex business environment,
  • Strong communication verbal and written skills.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent applicable experience and/or training.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
  • Forward looking and staying current on the latest trends in process management, engagement strategies, and change management methodologies
  • Experience in mining and metals industry
  • Experience in consulting
