Job Purpose

As a part of OCBC Group Great Eastern Financial Advisers (G.E.F.A) \xe2\x80\x93 Business Management team, the candidate is required to develop and strengthen the competency of GEFA reps in collective investment schemes (CIS) and 3rd party services, while enhancing client engagement. The ultimate objective is to achieve both top line and bottom line numbers, as well as maintain market leadership for both GE Life and GEFA.

The Job

• To achieve GEFA TWNS and NBEV Budget, CIS Assets-Under-Advice targets, and overall business activity.
• Develop and execute business strategies with the focus in mind to drive overall GEFA business mix including but not limited to CIS.
• Conduct regular training for GEFA consultants and groups on CIS processes, and guide them on business submission.
• Improve CIS submission processes, enhance the CIS knowledge and competency of the GEFA network of leaders and financial consultants.
• Regularly conduct first level CIS products assessment for quarterly on boarding review, and annual fund house review and reporting.
• Project Management \xe2\x80\x93 Great Advice platform front and back end development and enhancements for CIS, ongoing CMAP platform usage and development for GEFA BM team.
• Good understanding of applicable FAA framework.

• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Qualifications

Our Requirements

• Preferably with 4 or more years of sales experience, from either banking, insurance, financial advisory industries, with the relevant CMFAS certs (M6 / M6A / M8 / M8A / M9 / M9A).
• Some experience with the FA Business, with a focus on overall working framework, business development, reps management and training.
• HNW knowledge and experience a plus, preferably with experience on Universal Life and HNW products.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, and work independently under tight timelines.

• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
