We are seeking an entrepreneurial

Manager, Category Management (FMCG Impulse)

who will be responsible for the sourcing and merchandising of a category within foodpanda's New Verticals team.

Full P&L responsibility for the assigned Impulse categories, including revenue, margin & other supplier income Develop and execute aligned category strategy to meet with KPIs Ensure pandamart has the right selections and best prices in the market Work with existing suppliers to negotiate cost, funding and terms improvement, secure supplier marketing and advertising spend, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfilment centre Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality, good value goods available to our customers year-round Employ data-driven decision-making to drive the category. Work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supply Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Imports, Pricing, Strategy, Finance and Marketing to deliver strategic projects that allow pandamart to offer the best customer experience Spearhead commercial initiatives independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or relevant 3+ years' relevant work experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, account and category management Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Managers Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations, influence and overall relationship management (both internal and external) Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Ability and desire to contribute to wider team performance and culture Strong analytical skills Great communication skills (both oral and written) are a must Proficient in MS Office & G-suite Past Supplier Acquisition experience are good to have
