: The Centre for Climate Research Singapore (CCRS) is a division of the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS). Our vision is to be a world leading centre in tropical climate and weather research focussing on the Southeast Asia region. CCRS is looking for a manager to coordinate internal business and administrative activities, providing support to CCRS senior management, and acting as a POC for CCRS business matters to both CCRS staff and the wider NEA/MSS business units. Working with CCRS Director and Deputy Directors, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of: CCRS Ops/Research desktop/laptop IT equipment requirements, including working with the relevant NEA departments to coordinate equipment for new staff, visitors, lease renewals, software purchases and tracking of IT assets CCRS budget, including general liaison between CCRS and the Business & Strategy Division in MSS CCRS-driven research collaboration agreements (RCAs), external project plans (including collaborations with international partners), contracts and MOUs CCRS Knowledge Information System i.e. keeping CCRS Sharepoint up-to-date, record management CCRS divisional procurement-related tasks e.g. managing CCRS journal subscriptions and publications CCRS conferences and outreach events Job Requirement: Relevant academic degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics At least five years demonstrated proficiency in Singapore government business administration including organisation of financial, legal, procurement and project management aspects Possesses good writing skills with the ability to translate and communicate technical/scientific information into easily understood, engaging, influential and informative reports for a broad audience Good team player and ability to engage and communicate with scientists, senior management and colleagues in the relevant NEA departments Able to multi-task effectively, work independently and have a strong sense of urgency Proactive problem solver with superb planning and coordination skills As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment To apply, please proceed to Careers@Gov at https://www.careers.hrp.gov.sg/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/ZGERCFA004/index.html#/JobDescription/12712686/005056a3-d347-1edd-8cf8-ea728bdbe25b
