Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what\'s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients\' core holdings.

This role is part of Parametric\'s hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Client Relations Group (CRG) is a department within Parametric\'s Operations division. CRG\'s mission is to seamlessly manage all operational aspects of client instructions: from opening an account to all the subsequent account processing.

The department works closely with all areas within Parametric to deliver client service excellence, notably Sales, Trading, Portfolio Managers, Technology, and other Operations teams. The department is approximately 120 staff members working in 3 main groups called Client Operations, Client Service, and Contracts.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, APAC Client Relations Group (Vice President) in Singapore has overall accountability for ensuring the effective, efficient, timely, accurate, operations for the full life cycle of an account from account opening, onboarding, activity management, client service and account closure being processed in India and Singapore. This individual will lead the team and function through growth and change that provides for scalability while ensuring error-free work and top-notch client service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand CRG business process and systems, developing a deep understanding of the processes and control points, data and metric, team structure, and people.
  • Provide input and execute upon the strategic vision for CRG that is ready and poised to scale, both in size and geographically, ensuring that all employees understand the strategy and are working to fulfill the vision and have a deep understanding of the work that they do and how their work fits within the larger picture, including implications and magnitude of incorrect actions at any phase of the account lifecycle.
  • Identifies gaps and risks and recommends and implements changes in collaboration and partnership with leaders within and outside of CRG.
  • An effective change leader who challenges the status quo to support the growth and scalability of the business. Drives change quickly, bringing the team and individuals along for the journey without interruption to working throughput, quality, or client service.
  • Develops leaders at all levels of management within CRG to be top notch leaders and mentors.
Establish, oversee, and direct CRG activities in Mumbai & Singapore

Qualifications:

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant financial services professional work experience, 10+ years in onboarding or client configuration management related role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analyzing and making improvements to improve STP.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working in India or supervising functions performed in India.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully leading teams of various levels.
  • Results-oriented leader, leading a large team to meet their objectives and key results while maintaining throughput and increasing scale.
  • Innovative change leader who is leverages metrics to drive decisions.
  • Strong global communicator with interpersonal, management, writing, and editing skills.
  • Strong diligence and accuracy
  • Collaborative in their interaction with colleagues across the firm regardless of function or level; a collaborator
  • Highly motivated and hardworking, with a passion for excellence and willing to challenge status quo.
