About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Planning, designing and configuring cloud services.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company policies and security guidelines.
• Developing, deploying and debugging IaC code (Cloud formation and Terraform).
• Interacting with users, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on user needs.
• Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
• Using extensive knowledge of APIs to design and create custom cloud automation and integrations with other systems
• Modifying and improving existing services.
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.

Job Requirements

• Three years\' experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python, C++ or Ruby.
• Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of web services, Cloud Formation and Terraform.
• Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps.
• Extensive experience with open-source technology, software development and cloud engineering.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.
