Job Responsibilities:
Planning and Development

  • Plan and develop a comprehensive communications plan and calendar of events and activities to support the milestones of the Office of Campus Planning (OCP), and working with various departments in where necessary to implement the communications plan.
  • Plan all communications work to chronologically document the redevelopment journey, including the creation of an editorial calendar, related content development, copywriting and establishment of a stockpile of photographs and images to capture history in the making.
  • Plan for and manage partnerships with branding and design agencies engaged by OCP to develop concepts, content and collaterals for OCP-related milestones and activities.
  • Develop external and internal communications on OCP activities to all staff, including managing marketing materials (brochures, newsletters and mailers), and running events for OCP held physically, and on various media, virtually, or at physical locations.
  • Look out for relevant projects to celebrate nature and heritage of the campus, and develop and manage community partnerships related to campus redevelopment.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality and timely internal and external communications for all the work being managed by OCP.
  • Conceptualize, plan, coordinate, procure and arrange for installation for Campus Redevelopment signages, posters, wayfinders, notices on road widening, road diversion, point-of-patient-contact promotional and corporate campus planning publicity materials and other work in and around campus (lamppost bunting, railing banners, hoardings etc.), to ensure a seamless and easy-to-follow user and visitor experience of and its services and facilities during campus redevelopment construction and other ground activities.
  • Be involved in relevant design workshops to understand how the new campus will be built and provide input from a communications perspective.
  • Interface with the consultants and build stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, including government agencies and community partners.
  • Responsible for budgetary planning and control, ensuring that all communications activities keep within budget.
  • Be on the ground to manage various sub-projects, interacting with different stakeholders.
  • Write papers for approval on relevant subjects when required.
  • Support the rest of the campus planning team where required.
  • Carry out communications work related to campus planning.
Project and Programme Management and Implementation of Strategy and Initiatives
  • Manage and coordinate several on-going projects and events at a time, keeping an eye on each timeline and achieving milestone goals to meet specific deadlines.
  • Assist in identifying strategy goals, initiatives and programmes, and developing action plans for and coordinating implementation.
  • Review the initiative and programme execution at regular intervals and report the progress at management meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Communications or any related discipline
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Candidates with healthcare background highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Pleasant disposition, approachable and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Good team-player, with natural ability to interact with all levels of staff
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and strategic planning capabilities
  • Good listening ability, and a positive attitude
  • Stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Meticulous, organized, logical and analytical, able to fit different pieces of the puzzle together
  • Independent worker, with strong initiative for planning and doing, and able to work on several things at once
  • Have a natural affinity for technology, and its enabling capabilities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, unchartered territory, enjoy challenges and problem solving
