What the role is:You plan and implement stakeholder engagement for Total Defence, National Education and Support for Defence, to enhance Singaporeans\' commitment to defence and commitment to Singapore.What you will be working on:Specifically, you conceptualise approaches and creative concepts, develop and implement effective community engagement plans, as well as monitor the progress and associated publicity efforts. You do so by collaborating with MINDEF/SAF units, other public agencies and community partners. You also manage and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement programmes for external stakeholders, which include students, pre-enlistees, National Cadet Corp/uniformed groups, educators, civil servants and grassroots leaders. Your challenge lies in developing informed strategies and methods to engage our target audiences amidst the constantly evolving social landscape and needs so that they continue to be advocates for the security and success of Singapore.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification in Mass Communication or Arts/Social sciences, preferably with 1 to 2 years\' experience in public relations, marketing and/or events management. Possession of good command of spoken and written English, as well as good interpersonal and organisational skills is required. You must have an eye for details, be able to multi-task and are creative. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience. (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
