The successful candidate will have full ownership of the financial numbers and processes of business in Singapore, the role is based in Singapore and reports to the Director, Finance (Singapore).What you'll find at our table:

• Oversee the full set of accounts and take responsibility for month-end closing, closely partnering with the GL shared service team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Business partnering with local business stakeholders and FP&A counterparts to solve accounting issues effectively, review our financial numbers (PnL, balance sheet and cash flow) thoroughly and highlight any significant variances/potential risk areas to the management
• Focus on continuous process improvement, drive for the adoption of best practices and operational excellence for Singapore across different teams that will have significant financial impacts
• Ensure proper documentation on the processes to strengthen internal controls
• Assist with any new systems or process implementations
• Perform internal audits and manage quarterly and year-end external audits and liaise closely with external advisors to ensure that our regulatory reporting is completed on time
• Ensure processes are compliant with group accounting policies, internal controls, tax and other statutory requirements. Identify new internal accounting controls that we should implement to mitigate the risk of non compliance
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, audit, tax, and other statutory requirements
• Understand the company's financial goals and offer data-driven, well informed recommendations to the Director, Finance
• Stay up to date with new accounting regulations and IFRS and update the team/ revise internal processes as necessary

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related subject
• A minimum of 7-8 years of direct experience in an accounting, auditing, or finance role, preferably with people management exposure, is required
• Big 4 Audit experiences will be an advantage
• Proficient in business English, both written and verbal, with strong analytical skills
• Background in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up/technology environment will be a plus
• Familiarity with SAP Hana will be an advantage
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and CPA qualifications will be a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills
