Job Description

Job Purpose:

• Perform checks on fixed deposit maintenance (placement and released), current account maintenance, account opening, deposit-related transactions, static data maintenance, audit confirmations and other related account servicing and maintenance functions for Private Banking Singapore booking centre.

• Contribute to continuous improvements in procedures and organization so as to streamline sales & operational workflows/processes.

• Manage the daily routine operations in an efficient manner, while delivering good quality services to internal and external customers (including but not limited to account opening process, new account set-up, provide general banking services including remittance, deals executions, complete client\xe2\x80\x99s banking instructions, account maintenance, day-end order reconciliation, audit confirmation etc.).
• Ensure that operational processes while collaborating with front office in HK and SG, and other business units are in full compliance with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s policy and regulatory requirements.
• Set-up new accounts in the system and custody of the account-opening file for regular post-acceptance review upon account approval by PB management.
• Check and perform authorization relating to fixed deposits placement and maintenance.
• Check and perform authorization of account operation-related transactions in accordance to internal procedures and external regulatory guidelines.
• Lead &/or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UATs) and system testing.
• Perform any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

• Minimum \xe2\x80\x9cA\xe2\x80\x9d levels or Diploma holder.
• 3-4 years private banking experience with knowledge in account opening and KYC procedures.
• Working knowledge of Avaloq system.
• Familiar with Private Banking anti-money laundering and know-your-client requirements.
• In-depth knowledge on client management, operation support and process improvement.
• Familiar with wealth management products such as Unit Trust / Mutual Fund, Fixed Income Instrument, Lombard loan, Premium financing / Refinancing, Currency Linked Deposit, Structured Notes, Structured Deposits, etc.
