Manager, Data Center Critical Facilities

Job Summary
Manages supervisors, engineers, and Data Center site. Aids in testing, project management, and resolving incidents.

Responsibilities
Management

• Manages Critical Facility supervisors and engineers, including coaching and development of team
• Manages team to work safely, effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance

Site Capacity Management

• Overall site capacity management
• Project/Infrastructure Management
• Plans, coordinates, reviews budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data center
• Provides input and guidance towards budget

Vendor Management

• Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix\'s required standards, KPI\'s and SLA\'s

Testing

• Ensures correct processes are followed and all documentation is complete
• Takeover of new builds and building infrastructure
• Writes all MOP scripts

Incident Management

• Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
• Assists with root cause analysis and incident resolution

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent work experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an Engineering field preferred
