Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with demand managers to plan, prioritize and manage Capex & Opex demands:

  • Ensure optimal resource utilization through efficient budget allocation and resource management.
  • Responsible for the Centralized Demand Management lifecycle that plan, track, prioritize and manage capex and opex demands.
  • Provide stakeholders including management with full visibility of demands, backlogs and status.
  • Continue to improve processes and implement tools to increase productivity.
  • Follow up with individual Demand Manager to ensure demands (Status, Callouts) are updated into the Capex Priority List on a timely basis and is fit for presentation to Core Team and Demand & Release Council.
  • Ensure all other factors such as multiple cross BU demand dependencies and resource contention are taken into considerations.
Manage a team of release managers to schedule, plan, and control the software development and delivery process:
  • Ensure an optimal release calendar that takes into account both Business and IT needs.
  • Responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of release as per the schedule.
  • Review and resolve resource contention, with respect to release dependencies and important business/sporting events.
  • Ensure releases are updated on a timely basis and is fit for presentation to Core Team and Release Council.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Understands the business needs and their priorities, and under what circumstances those priorities can change
  • Works with business leaders, product owners, IT project teams, and operations staff to ensure every demand/ release contains the correct features, while making sure every stakeholder is aligned on the schedule, scope and risks for each release
  • Changes the demand/ release scope or re-prioritize release features according to information from all domain and biz stakeholders
  • Has a clear picture of development dependencies, and how changes to one part of a product can affect the stability of the whole
  • Schedules release unit dependencies into release packages
  • Create demand and release plans, including governance and approval requirements.
  • Conduct meetings with Core Team to align with all BU and IT domains directors on upcoming demand, releases, focusing on resolving issues in the areas of resource contention (supply) and priorities (demand)
  • Conduct twice a month release meeting to update, align and get approval (whenever required) from Biz and IT Management
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Tertiary qualification in IT, business, marketing, or equivalent experience. Need to be passionate in technology.
  • Managed senior stakeholder relationships within similar organisations
  • Lead business transformations, particularly leading teams without direct line management control
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project
  • Good communications and presentation skills
  • Problem solver
  • Resilience and Resourceful
