Job Description


:

  • This position is for Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE).
  • Design & Marketing Specialist
  • Responsible for end-to-end creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
  • Responsible for end-to-end creation and execution of all marketing collaterals, including Print, Digital, Paid and Organic materials.
  • Leverage copywriting skills to create compelling content for articles, social captions, and various marketing materials. Use of advanced design techniques, including interactive and multimedia elements, to enhance visual storytelling and user engagement.
  • Brand Management & Collaboration
  • Elevate brand identity of IIE programmes, ensuring alignment with current market trends and audience preferences.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing Communications and Programme teams to maintain brand consistency and stay updated on new products and features.
  • Collaborate with student leaders to guide and support marketing efforts.
  • Nurture leads and maintain communication and partnerships with the existing database, including students, faculties, and external partners.
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategies
  • Develop and execute digital marketing and social media strategies to enhance online presence.
  • Deliver the value proposition of IIE programmes through various digital marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Establish processes for seamless online presence and engagement across various digital platforms, including web, social media and mobile.
  • Manage the IIE\xe2\x80\x99s online presence, including website content, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using relevant tools and metrics.
  • Analyze customer behaviours, interest and demographics using network data to tailor marketing efforts more effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Digital Media Design or Marketing Communications or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end marketing, including strategy development, campaign execution, and analysis.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
  • Experience in data analytics (such as Google Analytics) and ability to derive actionable insights from data
  • Experience in creating and editing short-form video content is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • HTML knowledge for designing e-mailers/newsletters and websites (Drupal knowledge is a plus).
  • Ability to use AI in marketing is a plus.
  • Expertise in managing social networks and community engagement.
  • Keen interest in social media trends is a plus.
  • Experience in student outreach programmes is beneficial.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in budget, grant administration and financial management.
  • Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team-focused and with a strong desire to be successful.
  • A keen sense of ownership and accountability and act with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Humble, authentic, value hard work, creative problem solver and outcome-driven.
  • Up-to-date with industry trends in the innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
