Job Description

With our extensive range of products and manufacturing facilities, our technicians could explore developmental opportunities across a broad spectrum of business areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Projects, and Process Development.

In this role, you will:

Shape data-driven decisions that solve business challenges and deliver on desired outcomes and people experience.

Drive innovation, every plant area is a model area using our Production System (MPS) and Ways of Working.

Highly effective multi-tasker; resourceful with a \xe2\x80\x9cget-it-done, can-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Equipment and facility and utility systems.

Lead and support equipment upgrading and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance - Safety & Quality

Lead Safety, Quality and customer complaints investigations with a cross-functional team and establish Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to prevent re-occurrence.

Prepare and develop SOPs and Job Aids to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Support implementation of equipment change by initiating change control, participating in impact assessments and executing field equipment modifications.

Management of project schedules, resource plans, vendor coordination, and material purchases.

Proactively review and challenge current activities to reduce safety risk for employees and quality risks for company\xe2\x80\x99s products.

Lead and Develop environment and water system Quality risk assessment.

Enhance and uphold maintenance quality.

Ensures resolution and timely follow-up of identified Equipment and facility related equipment issues, unplanned events, and new opportunities identified by Senior Manager, Maintenance during daily walkthrough.

Provides technical expertise and support the DPI Maintenance Technicians for equipment breakdown, troubleshooting and recovery to ensure the timely and effective resolution of issues.

Implement technical solutions to improve equipment uptime and asset utilization through use of Continuous Improvement mindset (Lean methodologies).

Works with Engineering & SHE CoE to execute a reliability-centered maintenance plan and to share best practices and lessons learned, with the objective of improving asset utilization.

Lead and develop Business and GMP processes, formalized them into site procedures required for commercial operation.

Ensures equipment breakdowns are resolved in a timely manner and updates the Preventive Maintenance Plan.

Develop an Equipment reliability program to reduce the equipment down time and increase the up time.

Continuous Improvements (Cl)

Utilizes Lean methodologies such as 5S, Standard Work, real-time problem solving {RTPS), to support execution of continuous improvement activities to drive improved equipment robustness, reduced equipment downtime, elimination of both safety and quality risks in operation/ cleaning and maintenance activities.

Support the development of continuous improvement framework and work with the Maintenance team to identify opportunities.

Financial Stewardship

Undertakes activities to support realization of production, IPT cost effectiveness, and product cost reduction targets set for the IPT in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on equipment reliability and maintenance expenses.

Monitor maintenance program to ensure cost effectiveness including spare parts levels, frequency of scheduled PM and equipment breakdowns.

Support Supervisor to meet Profit Plan targets, optimize maintenance and product standard cost effectiveness in accordance with cGMP and Safety guidelines.

People Management

Works with Supervisor, Maintenance to implement personal objectives for team that are realistic, achievable, and drive improved technical competence and a "Lean mindset" (in alignment with MPS).

Provides timely continuous feedback to direct reports, and IPT maintenance members. Appropriate rewards to Team members based on performance and demonstration of our leadership standards.

Ensures all direct reports have a development plan which supports achievement of objectives and future professional growth.

Ensures that "Learning Plan" for team members is aligned to the task they perform, and competence meets requirements for tasks undertaken; this includes safety, quality & operations related activities.

Maintains positive working relationships among employees and fosters an environment where employee engagement, empowerment, teamwork, and accountability are the cultural norm.

Self

Demonstrates leadership behaviors in alignment with our leadership standards.

Develops and updates annual Personal Performance Grid (PPG) and Employee Development Plan (EDP) with Manager and aligned with Performance Management Process.

Ensures both operational knowledge and technical skills are maintained and compliant against individual training requirements.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Qualification and Experience

Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.

8 years of maintenance work experience in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Semiconductor or Petrochemical industry.

Knowledge and experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), HVAC, Chiller system, Colling tower and purified water system. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Knowledge of parts inventory management, mechanical and electrical equipment design reliability principles.
