Role Summary




We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ESG Specialist to join our India renewable team. The candidate is expected to lead and ensure the integration of environmental, social, and governance considerations into construction activities and business operations, developing and ensuring the implementation of organizational level Social and Environment management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving sustainability initiatives across blue leaf India projects.

This role requires a strong understanding of ESG principles, WHSE management skills, understanding of project management and excellent communication abilities.


How You Will Make an Impact




E&S Management: Develop and establish the environment and social management system aligned with BLE principle. ESG Integration: Develop and implement ESG programs and strategies and plans/procedures that align with company goals and Construction and renewable Industry standards. E&S Deployment: Development and deployment of organizational and project level ESMP and improve the team capacity on ESMP understanding and implementation. Project Integration: Collaborate with project teams to ensure ESG considerations are integrated into project planning, execution, and monitoring phases. Risk Management: To develop ESG risk management strategies across projects and ensure the compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and establish stakeholder engagement system which includes but not limited to site teams, contractors, and local communities, to promote stakeholder engagement and social responsibility. Reporting and Compliance: Setting up system for ESG reporting, ESG data management and develop the preparation of ESG reports, aligned with industry frameworks such as GRI, CDP. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of ESG principles and practices. Communication: Facilitate internal and external communications regarding Ensuring the BLE WHSE system implementation and continuous improvement. Policy, Processes, and assurance of legals and other requirement implementations. Ensuring the compliance of BOCW, IFC guidelines and ESIA recommendations wr.t. to WHSE and ESG under social and environment. Act as central coordinator for monthly and weekly WHSE KPI and compile, store, analyse and present the WHSE reporting indicators. Support and assist in preparation of ESG, WHSE trends, Improvement action and management report. Ensuring the implementation of ESG initiatives through regular audits and systematic monitoring system.

What Makes You a Great Fit




Educational Qualification: + Master or bachelor's degree in Environment Science/ WSHE
+ PG diploma in Sustainability Study / Sustainability Reporting from recognized institution / University
+ CFA /GRI certification for sustainability reporting / CDP reporting
Experiences: + 7-10 Years in relevant industry.
+ Hands on experience on ESG framework like GRI, ISSB, TCFD etc.
+ Experience in renewable and construction in ESG/EHS corporate role in full life cycle of project (Construction to Commissioning).
+ Adaptability to evolving change of ESG trends and regulations.
