Make an Impact by:

  • Be responsible for a commercial premise, as the primary Facilities Manager (FM). Be a backup FM for the other commercial premises.
  • Responsible for all aspects of facility management and maintenance activities, addition/alterations, upgrading/refurbishment works to the estate that includes building services, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, security system, housekeeping, horticultural, general logistics and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage all service providers deployed at the estate and ensure they maintain appropriate quality standards, adhere to maintenance work order executions, preventive maintenance compliance, timely delivery, facility resource management and inventory control.
  • Conduct audit on buildings, exchanges & stations to enhance WSH awareness and periodic assets/facilities audit to identify areas for equipment/system improvements, cyclical replacement of aging / end-of-life equipment.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance on Work Flow Procedures, Method Statement, Permit to Work, and Risk Assessment prior to job execution.
  • Manage depreciation, utilities, and internal charges of the commercial premise.
  • Manage of CAPEX/OPEX budget and cash flow schedule.
  • Ensure timely renewal / award of all Term Contracts (TCs) in accordance to the committed procurement timeline.
  • Enforce strict supervision and surveillance functions for Managing Agents on all activities within the premise to ensure compliance to established guidelines/ procedure and to avoid lapses in service and regulations.
  • Keep Facilities in the forefront of new technology and products in the building industry. Be cognisant of industry developments and introduce to the Division. Lead in a proof of concept for FISW, annually.
  • Manage diverging and often conflicting stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s expectations for projects and operational matters, e.g. business case, cost controls, manpower constraints, competency,
  • Time to deliver/implement, security & safety considerations and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage MA engagement, particularly in the area of, talent management, creating a challenging yet rewarding job so as to retain and attract new talents within the MA team.
  • Be the designated premise FSM and be responsible for:
a. Conduct and coordinate fire drills and the formation of CERTs and obtain Fire
Certificate in compliance to Fire Safety Act & Regulation
b. Audit, inspect and test all fire alarm and protection systems to ensure compliance
with Fire Safety Act & Regulation. * Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Skills for Success:
  • Possess Diploma in Facilities Management or Engineering.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
