Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Monthly management reports, including analysis/reporting of Group performance and KRI against target.
Annual budget and periodic forecasts. Ensure effective time planning and partnering with respective Business Units
Coordinate the year-end financial audit, prepare the financial statements and annual report
Supervisory role on Inventory Management
Oversee the finance cashier operations
Support the transition to new parks/features
Support SAP/ERP review, UAT and implementation
Keeping abreast with latest accounting standards for compliance and adoption.
Review and streamline existing finance processes and systems, including redesign of workflows and processes based on best practices and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Design of new business reports, ongoing improvements, and re-engineering of existing reports to support business needs.
Ensure compliance including regular review and update of financial policy and SOP.
Any other ad hoc duty assigned
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
At least 8 years of accounting and finance experience with 3 to 5 years experiences overseeing a team in a managerial capacity Must be proficient and have a good understanding of Singapore Financial reporting standards (SFRS)
Familiar with SAP system
Experience in using TM1 or Planning Analytics is ideal
Hands-on and a can-do attitude
Collaborative and problem-solving mindset
Able to work in a dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels
