We are a global team, supporting front-to-back middle office systems, operating in a strong DevOps culture. Macquarie's Corporate Operations Group (COG) Equity Finance and EDT Post Trade development team support the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Group with daily interaction with the front office business stakeholders. You will join a dynamic team that owns globally used services and work side by side with experienced front and back office developers applying agile development methodology. Responsibilities Work with the global team to design and implement technical solutions for MOD Technology platform Work with business stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear technical requirements Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures Provide support to the business users globally Key Skill Requirements Technical 5+ years of practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java (8 or above) 5+ years of practical experience in JavaScript and Web UI framework (Meteor / Angular) Solid experience with SDLC tools (JIRA / Maven / Bamboo) Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot implementation Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / Sybase / MongoDB) Good knowledge of Distributed Caching technologies Good knowledge of Test Driven Development Basic knowledge of .nix scripting Other Excellent verbal and written communication Experience working with Middle Office functions in a financial institution is an advantage Experience in data processing and analysis tools (e.g. Spark, Presto) is an advantage Experience in Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, K8s, Docker) is an advantage Preferred Skills Technical JavaScript framework (NodeJS / React / Vue) HTML 5 / CSS / Bootstrap SQL / NoSQL platform (PostgreSQL / Mongo / Cassandra) CI/CD Tools (Bamboo / Jenkins) Testing Framework (Robot / Selenium / Cucumber) Building low latency high availability applications Other Experience working with Equity Derivative products About the Corporate Operations Group The Corporate Operations Group brings together specialist support services in Digital Transformation & Data, Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Business Services, Business Improvement & Strategy, and the Macquarie Group Foundation.
