We have an exciting role in the MOD Technology development team in Singapore or Hong Kong. Macquarie\'s Corporate Operations Group (COG) Equity Finance and EDT Post Trade development team support the Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Group with daily interaction with the front office business stakeholders. You will join a dynamic team that owns globally used services and work side by side with experienced front and back office developers applying agile development methodology.

Responsibilities

• Work with the global team to design and implement technical solutions for MOD Technology platform

• Work with business stakeholders to translate business strategy into clear technical requirements
• Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures

• Provide support to the business users globally

Key Skill Requirements

• Technical

• 5+ years of practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java (8 or above)
• 5+ years of practical experience in JavaScript and Web UI framework (Meteor / Angular)
• Solid experience with SDLC tools (JIRA / Maven / Bamboo)
• Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot implementation
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / Sybase / MongoDB)
• Good knowledge of Distributed Caching technologies
• Good knowledge of Test Driven Development
• Basic knowledge of *nix scripting
• Other

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience working with Middle Office functions in a financial institution is an advantage
• Experience in data processing and analysis tools (e.g. Spark, Presto) is an advantage
• Experience in Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, K8s, Docker) is an advantage
