Lead global communications for the Global Business Unit (GBU) Aroma Ingredients under Nutrition & Health division.
Advise the GBU SVP and leadership team on strategic external and internal communications, responsible for the implementation of agreed measures. Advise the GBU Aroma Ingredients\' SVP in his role as head of Nutrition & Health for Asia on internal and change communications.
Lead crisis communication topics related to the GBU.
Lead Communication efforts for the biggest investment project from Aroma Ingredients with plants in China and Germany.
Lead regional communications for other GBUs Nutrition & Health with the respective global GBU communicators.
Represent Nutrition & Health in the Asian Communications community, in alignment with the global EN Communications team to ensure effective messaging.
Main Tasks:
Drives concept and preparation of, e.g., townhall sessions, coffee chats and video messages. Creates and implements effective employee communications strategies to drive employee engagement and change across Nutrition & Health in Asia and for Aroma Ingredients globally.
Crisis communications - Develops and implements crisis communication plans addressing key business & communication risks in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Prepare position papers, media responses as a part of issue management, and crisis communications in consultation and corporate communication.
Project communication - leads communication plan and implementation efforts for the largest investment for Aroma Ingredients globally, with engagement plans for employees working on the investment and beyond.
Development of communications function - Lead strategic communications topics for the GBU Aroma Ingredients, devising concepts and steering their implementation, e.g., digital and social media marketing.
PR - Develop media opportunities in trade and business media. Expand and maintain network of journalists and drive proactive media relations to support business goals. Seek for speaking opportunities for senior executives at relevant conferences and trade shows.
International and regional network - Liaise with Global Communications Nutrition & Health, Regional Corporate Communications and Country Corporate Communications in Asia to coordinate relevant communications activities. Be an active member of the Nutrition & Health Global Communications Team as well as the Asian Communications community.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor\'s degree in communication, business or related field
At least 8 years working experience in public relations, project management, or marketing communication, preferably both in agency and in-house.
Experience working in the chemical industry or FMCGs.
Marketing or digital communications agency experience strongly preferred
Experience in community building
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing data to gain insights on customer behavior as well as developing, implementing, and tracking engagement/outcomes of multi-channel communications programs.
Strong creative and conceptual abilities (planning, analytical, creative, client and goal oriented)
Sound project and event management skills (ability to set guidelines and deadlines, manage budgets)
