The Manager, Global Trade (GT) and Technology Management, will support the Enterprise Operations GT organization and the role will be categorized as Onsite. As part of the Enterprise Operations Global Trade team, the GT Manager is responsible for overall Global Trade and regulatory compliance activities for HSUNPAC. This position has operational oversight for global trade policy and procedure implementation to ensure U.S. Government and Singaporean requirements, as well as classification strategy are met in HSUNPAC. The position reports directly to the Global Trade Senior Manager, APAC Regional Lead.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serves as local Strategic Goods Control Officer. Establishes local operational processes, maintains relations with relevant leadership teams and authorities, and advises on complex compliance issues. Ensures that the company\xe2\x80\x99s operations comply with Singapore export control laws and has the authority to stop or hold shipment if there are any concerns pertaining to export controls and/or customs.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the internal compliance programme within HSUNPAC.
• Responsible for the deployment and monitoring of local operative global trade requirements.
• Responsible for Technology Management operations in HSUNPAC including Jurisdiction / Classification and Harmonized Tariff Classification determinations with the direction of the EO GT Technology Manager Lead.
• Responsible for the classification focal network operation and optimization in HSUNPAC ensuring classifiers proficiency, classification accuracy and program sustainment, based on continuous risk evaluation.
• Leads Technology Management projects arising out of regulatory and/or policy changes for HSUNPAC and supports the EO GT Technology Manager Lead in strategic projects and/or communications within the APAC region.
• Drives efficient execution of global trade requirements and continuous process improvement.
• Develops, verifies, and reports global trade metrics that capture applicable global trade activity and risk.
• Engages directly with HSUNPAC leads at Collins to drive alignment on global trade compliance strategy, processes and tools.
• Manages self-assessments, audits, import compliance, and recordkeeping programs in HSUNPAC.
• Manages controls, investigates and advises on solutions for complex compliance problems.
• Leads, directs and develops 1 full-time global trade professional and leads a network of focals dedicated to ensuring HSUNPAC meets its global trade compliance requirements.
• Aligns with colleagues from the Enterprise Operations Global Trade team to drive a fully united organization \xe2\x80\x9cOne Collins\xe2\x80\x9d.

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Degree in Foreign Trade, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management, or related field. Engineering background has proven to be helpful for the Technology Management responsibility.
• At least 5 years in a Global Trade leading position with experience in interpreting and applying U.S. sanctions and local import/export regulations; in particular, the U.S. EAR / ITAR, the Singapore Strategic Goods Control Regulations, as well as classification and Global Customs compliance.
• Dynamic, highly driven, and able to adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with all levels.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with outstanding tactical execution skills.
