The Group Strategic Communications and Brand team in Singtel Group supports the organization in both its internal and external communications. This team plays a crucial role in shaping Singtel\'s brand image, managing its reputation, and ensuring that its messages are effectively communicated to stakeholders.

To continue driving this mission forward, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Communications Manager to join our team to lead and execute the Singtel Group\'s corporate communications strategy.

Make an Impact by

• Working with a team of communications professionals to protect and enhance the reputation of Singtel
• Driving positive coverage across a broad range of media, including consumer, business and trade publications and digital, social platforms
• Managing the creation of press and internal communications materials
• Organising press briefings, media sessions, events, prepare briefing materials
• Providing counsel to cross-functional partners in policy, legal, marketing etc. within the company on media engagement and crisis management
• Monitoring traditional and online media and take appropriate steps to rectify negative publicity and impact
• Proactively identifying, monitoring and managing crises and issues and develop crisis management communication plans in collaboration with business units

Skills for Success

• A degree from a recognised university, preferably specialising in Mass Communications/Public Relations/Business.
• Possess minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, media relations and issues management (preferably in a publicly listed company).
• Writing and editing skills including speech writing. Must have ability and passion for writing
• Integrated communications experience
• Excellent people skills and command of written and spoken English
• Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in the following areas:

• Lead projects to achieve stipulated objectives and goals
• Self-starter who possesses strong planning and organisational skills, very resourceful
• Able to produce clear, factual and relevant information in written form
• Strengths in relationship management and ability to influence peers, subordinates, seniors and external media
• Good project management skills
• Technology and net-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office applications
