[What the role is]
You will be part of HortPark\xe2\x80\x99s Outreach and Programming team. You are expected to be involved in event management and educational outreach initiatives.

[What you will be working on]

Horticulture Festival

Plan and organise a horticulture festival to be held in 2025, including event layout, spatial display of exhibits and branding/marketing strategy on social platform

Programme planning and activities to enhance the show experience

Community Garden Edibles Competition (CGEC)

Plan a series of engagements with the community on edible gardening programme

Revise the competition criteria evaluation, administration and rules/regulations form

Manage publicity in social media according to requirements, target audience and objectives

Arts@HortPark Programmes

Implement last quarter FY23 arts event schedule (Mural Art painting with the community, botanical workshops and outdoor performances)

Prepare reports \xe2\x80\x93 collate visitorship, digital engagement numbers and surveys results

Digital Engagement and Outreach

Manage and update the HortPark website and microsites

Post real-time content on NParks\xe2\x80\x99 social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) for HortPark events

Outreach Programmes (educational)

Work closely with team on the coordination and logistics for educational programmes with schools

[What we are looking for]

Bachelor\'s Degree in Horticulture, Botany, Applied Plant Science or related disciplines

Related working experience in the landscape and horticulture industry or botanical field

Basic knowledge of plants, horticultural applications and related fields

Good command of English, writing, communication and presentation skills, with an eye for detail

Able to work independently and as a team player

Knowledge of IT applications/software, with experience in project management and social media tools

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Successful candidate will be offered a 9-month contract employment.
