:

  • Provide hands on end-to-end HR support as a HR Business Partner to employees and Business Leaders for Kennametal\'s business in North & South Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Australia & New Zealand).
  • Drive Kennametal Talent Management Initiatives across the North and South Asian Countries to ensure Attract, Develop and Retain High Caliber Talent to ensure profitable Business Growth.
  • Drive Focus and implement initiatives for Capability Development and Leadership Development based on local needs assessment and in line with the Enterprise Leadership Development Program.
  • Partner, Collaborate and work closely with the RPO partner to Recruit and Select Human Capital Based on the Business needs, defined skills, and competencies with focus on meeting the Hiring metrics.
  • Drive & support the Kennametal HR Delivery Model for enhanced HR services to all internal Clients by leveraging and collaborating with HR Shared Services and HR COE.
  • Assist in Implementation of Employee Compensation Management Programs to ensure Kennametal is market competitive and partner and Collaborate with Total Rewards COE on all ongoing projects.
  • Ensure periodic review and enhancement of HR Policies / Employee Handbook to meet all Statutory / legal compliances and benchmark with Market practices.
  • Drive and sustain Employee Engagement activities / action Plans to maintain high levels of engagement and ensure effective employee Relations.
  • Drive, Lead and Participate in all Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in the sub-region to drive Culture Transformation.
Job Requirements:
  • Graduate Degree in any discipline, preferably in HR, with minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant HRM experience in an MNC environment.
  • Proficient or working Knowledge in Employment laws and practices in North and South Asia
  • Proficient in HR Technology on SAP platform.
  • Analytical, Perseverance & Hard working
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and influence positively.
  • Good command over written & spoken English and proficiency in other regional Language like Mandarin, Korean and Japanese would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work as an Individual Contributor while Leveraging the Kennametal HR Service Delivery Model (HR Shared Services & COEs) and Outsourced HR Partners (Recruitment, Third Party Manpower Service Providers, BPO Partners, Payroll, Employee Benefits, etc)
