This role is based in Singapore.We are looking for a highly self-motivated, self-starter individual who collaborates well with others and thrives in a fast-paced environment.The role is cross-functional and will involve close collaboration across different Product Engineering teams and stakeholders from outside the department to bring initiatives to fruition.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive the Cloud FinOps strategy for Circles, and manage the end-to-end practice (visibility, optimize, ownership pillars)
• Maintain and provide the source of truth for all cloud billing data including actual spend, chargeback amounts, and savings from costing optimization initiatives.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities, and continuously find ways to improve efficiencies in terms of cost and time-savings.
• Drive ownership and accountability for cloud cost across the organization, in view of building a sustainable cost conscious culture.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CTO and Head of Operations on all cloud cost matters and be the central point of contact with the cloud providers.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Have / Are\xe2\x80\xa6

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with cloud solutions like AWS, AZURE, GCP, OCI and possess an in-depth understanding of cloud costs and billing.

Visibility

• Build regular cost reports for different FinOps personas (Leadership, Engineering, Finance, Product) with cloud native tools (e.g. Cost & Usage Report, Cost Explorer) and / or 3rd-party tools (e.g. CloudHealth, Cloudability). Familiarity with SQL and BI tools is preferred.

• Implement chargeback models to accurately allocate direct and shared cost to a variety of business units, and provide an unit economic lens to illustrate efficiency trends.

• Support budget planning cycles and weekly forecasting using trend-based and driver-based forecasts through close collaboration with different FinOps personas.

Optimize

• Manage commitment plans (RIs, SPs, CUDs) across cloud providers, and ability to present risk, breakeven points, and potential savings for leadership\'s approval.

• Govern enterprise contracts with cloud providers, through end-to-end support from negotiation, assessment, internal approvals, and operationalization.

• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (vCPU, RAM, GB) to identify technical cost optimization opportunities through rightsizing and modernization

• Assess utilization of containerized deployment (EKS, GKE, OKE) and implement cost management frameworks for AI workloads (types of cloud services and charging models).

• Conduct TCO price comparison across cloud providers, licensing models (e.g. Oracle, Redhat, Windows), and SaaS solutions (e.g. Snowflake, Grafana), and ability to run scenario-based assessments.

Ownership

• Drive cloud cost Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with leadership in a structured format, and design shared KPIs to align stakeholders in view of business priorities.

• Improve and streamline FinOps-related engineering processes (e.g. resource onboarding, optimization threshold, tagging) to develop better cost control and time efficiencies, especially for engineering teams. Familiarity with implementing automation is preferred.

• Create enablement and incentivization programs for different personas to drive awareness and develop a sustainable cost conscious culture.
