What the role is:You will play a role in championing the workforce transformation and reskilling needs of enterprises in the Retail industry. We are seeking a candidate with strong business development or enterprise solutions experience, especially in engaging companies to identify how Workforce Singapore\'s initiatives can support their business transformation and manpower needs. You will also be part of the team that supports the Jobs Skills Integrator initiative which is pivotal in providing holistic support for the Retail businesses.What you will be working on:Jobs Skills Integrator for Retail (JSIT-R) - Manage and support programme partners in driving awareness and adoption of JSIT-R services for the retail industry - Drive collaborations with new partners that will value add JSIT-R and connect them with programme and ecosystem partners - Support programme partners in formulating annual workplan and budget projections and ensure they are on track on their achievement - Secretariat duties for respective meeting committees comprising of internal and external stakeholders - Perform data analysis to support partners\' workplans and respective landscape studies Industry Engagement and Management - Engage strategic accounts and engage companies to diagnose gaps and identify opportunities for collaborations, and to drive adoption of WSG programmes that will address their manpower needs - Collaborate with industry stakeholders including government agencies, associations, tripartite partners, programme partners to develop and implement relevant manpower interventions to address industry manpower issues - Develop deep understanding of employers\' hiring demands and recommend suitable candidate profiles to meet their needs - Coordinate with employers on the hiring outcome and monitor closely on the sector hiring demandWhat we are looking for:Requirements - Relevant work experience in industry engagement, account/ project management and/or consultancy roles - Strong problem-solving skills and be able to address challenges arising from partner management - Highly resourceful and digitally savvy - Experience in policy formulation and execution within the Public Service is a bonus - Salary will commensurate with experience All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.About Workforce Singapore:Workforce Singapore (WSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
