Job Description

Summary We are searching for a highly motivated Manager to join Scoot\'s IT Department and manage our Navitaire Airline Passenger Service System (PSS).
The successful candidate will be leading a team of Technical Analysts to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the system. You will identify opportunities for system and process enhancements to ensure optimal performance of the system.



Responsibilities

Manage the Navitaire Airline PSS system, including monitoring performance, identifying and resolving any issues, and implementing updates or upgrades as needed.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot any system-related issues that may arise.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and resolve technical problems, and ensure that all systems are running efficiently.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic planning and project management aspects of the airline\'s passenger service system.

This role requires effective leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective passenger service operations.

Stay current with new technology trends and advancements in the industry, and identify opportunities for system improvements.

Develop and implement long-term strategies for the airline\'s passenger service system, aligning with the company\'s overall goals and objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working with Navitaire Airline PSS systems.

Strong understanding of airline industry operations and processes

Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for complex systems.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
