Job Description

What the role is:You will be part of the Insights & Advisory Division of the Public Transport Council, which is responsible for the independent review of the quality and commuters\' experiences of Singapore\'s public transport services. The review encompasses in-depth research with industry stakeholders, academia, community and horizon scans with similar authorities worldwide, which can take the form of interviews, focus group discussions and surveys. The Division also leads the inclusivity initiative. Having formed the Caring SG Commuters Committee in 2020, we formulate strategies and collaborate with industry partners and the community to foster a caring commuting culture on our public transport, in alignment with Land Transport Master Plan 2040.What you will be working on:You will plan, lead and carry out the Committee\'s strategy in building a sustainable partnership with various stakeholders such as education institutions, community organisations and public transport operators, and co-create initiatives that promote and educate members of public, as well as call-to-action. You will lead discussions and projects, ensuring their seamless end-to-end execution. You are expected to contribute to and enhance the overall objectives of the Committee, which is to foster a caring commuting culture in support of the Caring SG Commuters Movement.What we are looking for:As the work involves giving presentations to senior management of various stakeholders, we are looking for candidates who are confident to lead and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor degree in any discipline \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years\' experience in stakeholder engagement and event/project management \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous with eye for detail \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and under pressure \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive and collaborative \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbout Public Transport Council:The mission of the Public Transport Council is to work in collaboration with commuters, transport operators and government agencies to improve our public transport system by keeping public transport fares affordable while ensuring the sustainability of the public transport system; and providing objective, evidence-based advice to the Government to improve the service quality of public transport and commuters\' travelling experience.
